Below is a collection of titles and names that are often attributed to Jesus. In examining a lot these, however, we find that many of these titles are not attributed to Jesus in the Bible, and many titles that are attributed to the God of Jesus are being attributed to Jesus. It is our hope, Yahweh willing, to present a discussion on each of these names/titles. As we represent information concerning each title, we hope to provide a link to the study on that title. Please note that not all of these titles are genuinely used of Jesus in the Bible; some are definitely not used, and some others are questionable.
Adam
1 Corinthians 15:45; more appropriately, the "last Adam".
Almighty
This title is never applied to Jesus in the scriptures.
Many misapply the expression of Revelation 1:8 to Jesus, when in reality the God and Father of Jesus is being quoted. CLICK HERE for more information.
Another scripture sometimes given is Matthew 28:18, which does not say that Jesus is the Almighty who gave to Jesus the power being spoken of. Paul says that it is evident that the Almighty is excluded in what has been subjected to Jesus. (1 Corinthians 15:27) CLICK HERE for more information.
Alpha and Omega
Although many claim that this is a title of Jesus, a close examination of all its uages in the Bible show that this is a title used of the God and Father of Jesus. CLICK HERE for more information.
Amen
(To come) - Revelation 3:14.
Angel
Genesis 48:16; Exodus 23:20,21 -- Although these scriptures speak of angels, we have no scripture that says that either of these angels are Jesus.
Jesus is called an angel in Malachi 3:1, in the prophetic referrence to him as the angel -- messenger -- of the covenant.
Angel of Yahweh (often with the holy name changed so as read: "angel of the Lord")
There is no scriptural evidence that this is ever applied to Jesus as a title.

Apostle
Hebrews 3:1
Arm of the Lord (More correctly, Arm of Yahweh)
Isaiah 51:9,10; Isaiah 53:1 - The arm of Yahweh seems to directly represent Yahweh's power, and not directly attributed as a title to Jesus; however, as the one through whom Yahweh performs His works, Jesus does represent the power of Yahweh.
Author and perfecter (Finisher) of our faith
Hebrews 12:2
Author of Life
Acts 3:15 - More correctly, Prince of Life.
Beginning and End
More correctly "The Beginning and the End." This expression is used of the one who sits on the throne, the God and Father of Jesus, in Revelation 1:8; 21:6; 22:13. It is never used of Jesus.

Beginning and the End of the Creation of God
Revelation 3:14; Revelation 22:13
Revelation 3:14 speaks of Jesus as the beginning of God' creation; Revelation 22:13 is not quoting Jesus, but rather the God and Father of Jesus. There is no title as given above to be found anywhere in the scriptures.
Beginning of the Creation of God, or The Beginning of God's Creation
Jesus, being God's firstborn creature (Colossians 1:15), the first living creature to be brought forth into existence, is thus called the beginning of God's creation.
